International NanoMicroClub NanoMission Japan 2011

16th - 18th February 2011: Tokyo, Japan

Organised by the International NanoMicroClub (INMC), a joint initiative between the Institute of Nanotechnology and the NanoKTN, this mission provided unique opportunities to develop business in Electronics, Sensors and Instrumentation, Materials and Cleantech, as well as:

  • Assist companies in promoting company literature at the conference
  • Assist with 50% of your travel and subsistence costs up to £500
  • Also the mission may include special visits and meetings (to be confirmed)

NanoMicroClub Networking Event: "Energy Generation and Supply"

"Energy Generation and Supply"

Organised by: The Institute of Nanotechnology and the University of Surrey Nanotechnology and Photonics Platform

The energy market encompasses a vast range of economic activity, from the extraction of fossil fuels, to the generation of energy, its distribution, and consumption.

The event discussed:

  • The potential impact of Nanotechnology at all stages of the energy value chain
  • The development of advanced materials for improved oil drilling, innovations in thin film solar technologies, and new batteries that have increased power densities and stability
  • The development of new energy technologies driven by policies that reduce CO2 generation
